People have been telling me to sell my bags for months now. Well.... my sister in law is participating in a craft fair/show and wants a few of my bags to take with her. So I need help!
Tell me honestly:
how much would you pay for one of these bags? They are all hand-crafted, machine quilted and are big enough to fit two bath towels or a bunch of church books! :)
I think you may need to price individually - the one on the bottom with button closure and individual quilted panels looks like it was more time consuming than the top one (both are very cute - when I'm preggers I'm calling you for a baby bag. When being in like 4 years). Jan's prices seem fair - maybe range from 15 - 25 based on the time you put in? Definitely think about what you'd be paying yourself per hour when pricing.
ok - i've been to a few craft fairs in my time... and one thing i noticed is that the people who go there LOVE bargains! they love them. these bags are darling. make a "special" and say buy two get one free and you'll make more of a profit. seriously. good luck!!
I would pay $20 for one. I like the ideas presented above, especially the "bargain" idea. I do the same thing with piano students like offering a 15% discount of the monthly bill if more than one member of the family takes from me or they pay a lump sum at the beginning of the month. People really like that.
I especially love the second bag and would pay $20. If you want to sell it to me (I'm in MN) bring it out with you to Jan's this month. I'm serious. Good luck with your bag sales.
I love your bags, you should definitely sell them. I am not a good judge of price on the spot. I will think about it. Don't skimp though. Go for more than less.

I'm not sure how much you should charge. I definitely think that you should give it a shot though. I totally want the bag in the top picture. :D

i'll give you a bushel of herrings and a black pug dog.
I would pay at least $20. I would consider how much your supplies cost and factor in how many hours of work you put into it.
Can't think of a name, but the name Liz is so darling and feminine. Maybe you play around with using your name in the name of the bags.
