mending fences

I avoid the blog when things are on my mind. I've noticed that. I would like to be totally open here, but I've discovered that I blog less when I'm having a problem or struggling with something. I don't want to air my dirty laundry, yet I also don't want to dance around like I'm fine and wonderful.

I'm lonely. One of my best friends just moved and I've been having problems with some others.
I'm utterly distraught about the house.
I'm trying.

but I also feel so ungrateful sharing this. I'm so blessed in so many ways, I just wish I could stop tearing up all day lately! (and no, i'm not pregnant)

I feel like Jo in Little Women who begged, why can't things just stay as they are?

Change is so hard.

Change is hard and especially losing good friends at times when you need them most. Don't feel bad for posting this on your blog. Everybody has different struggles at different times and while some may seem bigger than others it doesn't make yours any less hard. I hope things start to get better!

Hugs to you! I'm so so sorry that you're feeling this way. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It was so good to catch up today! Xoxo.

I'm the opposite, I have a tendency to let it all hang out and offend people. I get a sense of release writing it down, even if it's on my blog. You know, it's funny, a message board I belong too lately has had a lot of girls wondering if they are the only ones without a real BFF. You clearly aren't alone, it's either a shift in the solar system, that time of the year or as responsabilities grow, friends just aren't as convenient. It's hard but life is all about different phases or some people call them chapters. It'll end, and another will open:) I'll keep praying for your house:)

I hardy ever check blogs or blog anymore (especially while I'm on vacation), but I just saw this post for some reason & want to tell you I love you, Liz!! Change is so hard - I'm right there with ya. I cried a lot after we moved from AZ. but then I met YOU. :) I hope things get better for you. Can't wait to see you & your family soon. PS I miss that friend, too. (I think it's the same one you're thinking of..)
