Serenity

There are times when I'm good at reading scriptures.
I sleep better.
There is less contention in our home.
These times are not often enough.
You'd think I'd get it by now.

A few verses in particular have struck me. I think especially as we leave today for Grandpa Bob's memorial service.

And now surely this was a sorrowful day; yea, a time of solemnity, and a time of much fasting and prayer.
-Alma 28: 6

Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.
-Alma 26: 12
